Also, if you wish to support Romney, you should go out and vote for Ron Paul. Romney already wins the straw polls pretty well no matter what, but Santorum and sometimes Gingrich sometimes get close to beating him. If you vote for Ron Paul, it reduces the overall strength of the "Not Romney" candidates, allowing Romney to take all the delegates, and embarrassing Santorum/Gingrich.

He actually ruled as your governor.
He did not. I'm not even sure how he got elected. He failed the first time he ran back when I was a kid. His opponent the 2nd time must've really been worthless to lose to Romney

He was elected as the head of your state correct? If he was then he pretty much had to rule unless he did nothing for his entire term. And we all know that ruling is the opposite of sucking.

foolm0ron posted... From: SAWYOFACEANDWOW | #005 Also it's Gov. Romney, not "Romney". Show the man some respect. I don't recall ever signing a contract to call him "Gov"
I'm sure you and Romney, as elite businessmen, will understand if I refuse to comply with a request without a contract that benefits me financially.
I'm sure you will understand that you're fired.

Hmm, fired from being able to post in this topic? Fired from my basic natural right to free speech? You're right, Romney IS powerful. Powerful enough to strip you of your basic rights. Do we need such a tyrant in office?

We need such a president. Also posting on gamefaqs isn't a right, it's a privilege.

SAWYOFACEANDWOW posted... He ruled in the sense that he governed your state.
So are you saying he should be president because as governer of Massachusetts, he governed the state of Massachusetts? Normally I would absolutely and unquestioningly buy into such redundant reasoning (out of sheer amusement) but in this case I'm not going to. Hopefully he'll be rejected by hardcore conservatives for being from such a liberal state...

That's precisely what I'm saying.

Well then I unfortunately cannot buy your redundantly illogical logic which sucks because I normally love redundantly illogical logic, but Romney pissed me off :(
Don't worry though. I may uncharacteristically disagree with you here, but I'm still inclined to naturally consider you one of the most credible users on the board, so your status with me is unaltered in that sense. I mean if you had dropped Romney's mormon ass and backed Ron Paul, we wouldn't be having this conversation >_> but the freedom to choose one's elected officials is a right that no US citizen should ever criticize or hold for granted so I'm totally cool with us just agreeing to disagree about Romney :D
also I'm pretty drunk right now but I feel like despite that I'm still well-spoken because I'm not EXCESSIVELY drunk :D

And Massachusetts isn't as liberal as they say (or as we say in New Hampshire). Massachusetts still has a law against selling alcohol on Sunday, so supermarkets actually throw a net over the alcohol that day! Is that what a liberal state would do? No, sir, Mass. still has parts of its Puritan heritage.
