I just bought one of those 3-in-1 retro game consoles that can run NES/SNES/Genesis games from the original cartridges.

The store didn't have a very good selection of games, so I barely got anything, but I was hoping we still had my old games from my youth. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed; we threw them all out ages ago.

I normally use Amazon.com for nearly all my non-food purchases, but this is a very niche sort of thing to go looking for.

Is the answer just "eBay", or are there good, reputable sites where I can get old games for reasonable prices and have good faith that they'll be in good condition?

He said with good faith they'll be in good condition.

Still, that's what I would do, and if you get one that's fail, oh well.

Probably just ebay. If you're lucky there might be a local store which carries them.

I got the console and the couple of games from a retro game store at the mall about 30-60 minutes away from me. I didn't have a lot of time to browse their selection, but as I said, it didn't look great. They just recently opened, though, so their stock could improve.

A 3 in 1 console? Did it have a special name or brand? How much did it run you?

I buy most of my older games from ebay but I recently lucked out and a used game store opened in the area. Had a good selection and dirt cheap games but like I said, I lucked out. Hopefully this place you went to gets more of a stock to work with shortly.
