Not trying to sound like a typical B8 snob, but it just blows my mind that companies like this can still make billions off of their cultist fans.
Apple is just like CoD and Capcom-- sell a recycled product with a couple of extra features for more money very shortly after the inferior original is out (even though they had the ability to add all of those features initially).

No. God no. That's horribly unfair to Acti and Capcom - They make the same product over and over, but if you enjoy it and want a bit more with it, it's a reasonable price(especially with CoD where you keep playing with your friends).
This is more along the lines of if Microsoft released a new console every year or so with a handful of additional features, at rediculous prices. The cost is insane :/
btw: That new Ipad costs more than my new computer that can run BF3 and Skyrim on ultra. That's insane.

Okay CoD might be unfair. But I was referring to re-releasing games like MvC3 or SF4 with bonus characters and whatnot at full price.

Still not quite as bad(and aren't the releases $40 not $60?), but I won't argue that's a practice that's getting old.
I'm okay with $500. I don't see the need for any more storage when most media you would access on an iPad could easily be stored on the cloud, and with the places you take an iPad, you don't need a 4G network.
This 'new model every year' thing isn't Apple exclusive, anyway - every company does it. Phone, car, console, TV, appliance and other manufacturers do this. No need to vilify just one company. It's up to the consumer to determine whether they need and want to upgrade. I'm still perfectly fine with my iPad 1. An HDMI out would be nice, sure, but not $500 more nice.

I will admit it's a pretty cool device, but it's just kind of saddening that this thing will sell like hotcakes at these ridiculous prices, yet $250 for a 3DS or Vita is somehow way too much.
whats worse is a lot of these people already spent money on the old ipad and simply having a new version with a bigger number makes theirs suck somehow.
