It sucks because it's nearly impossible to differentiate between alts and new participants. With this contest's previous history, I'm trigger happy when it comes to not counting anything remotely suspicious. But that completely stifles growth which I believe this contest desparately needs.
In regards to Spinz33, although investigation reveals there are youtube and twitter accounts by that name, searching for his name within gamefaqs only yields one result. This reeks of someone rallying their real-life friend.

I'm not an alt. I've honestly just been inactive for a long time, and it is depressing that I only have 370 karma. I don't know what you want me to do to prove it's not an alt. I can't believe you really did a search on me lol but those are my accounts you did find for both twitter and youtube.
