Who's in charge of checking all the timestamps?

No one in particular. If the round is slow and I've got nothing better to do I'll check over other peoples save times, as do some other updaters. If it's a night round or everybody's chatting it up then eff that. Otherwise everyone looks after their own saves or anyone desperate enough to lawyer a favorite back into the competition checks everyone else's save times.

Yeah I've never checked timestamps and it's part of the reason I don't do many updates.

Went up almost a whole point in the all time stats with this finish!

...but that still only puts him at 26.71.

Had he lasted one more round he would have matched his CXIII finish of 69th (though 70th here is still much more impressive).

The highest he's ever finished is 37th out of 75 in CXI.

Typically, you can't tell. LUCKILY, he admitted it immediately afterward!

If someone does it in the future, I suppose it'll come to a judgement call - but I don't think there'll be many grey areas. It'd be hard to mask you were doing it intentionally, honestly - if you were that close to having a save you'd just wait for your save and not set off the chain reaction.
