I just opt for occasional updates recalled from my memory of playing earlier in the day or week. That way I can comment but also enjoy the game.

Yeah there's nothing wrong with that. I've done that. I just don't get how people can play or watch a movie and have a window open doing updates as they're doing it. Pretty sure a lot of people do that, though!

Not when they're that frequent, no. It's like listening to a song and then every ten seconds or so the music cuts out for a fraction of a second, to me.
