Let's see... only one I can think of is this movie on Sy-Fy (gross that it's spelled that way now) a while ago called 100 feet or One Hundred Feet, in which this guy is killed in the most brutal fashion I've ever seen. Like... he was already practically dead- like injured beyond hope of recovery- and the antagonist kept bashing his face in. I kept waiting for him to stop, begging even, like the protagonist was at this point and the punishment continued! It was outrageous!

I don't think Hostel fits, good movie I'd say (the first one) but I mean, it's mostly torture of a somewhat realistic variety. I would'nt call much of that "cool death scenes".

I "like" Hostel, but it's not the type of thing I was looking for.

Saw's a bit closer, but Final Destination was the closest thing. Creative deaths gain bonus points.

Jason X was a horrible movie, but the Liquid Nitrogen scene was good enough for me to watch it. Mindhunters had a similar thing, which was also neat.

Oh MAN, there's a Hatchet II???? S*** gotta find that RIGHT NOW. Absolutely loved the humor in that movie cameo by Candyman (I don't even know that man's real name- it may as well be "Candyman") top tier comedy.

Heeell yeah, he's got an even bigger role in Hatchet II also. Another wacky thing about Hatchet II, one of the few movies to get released in major theaters unrated, but it was pulled after one weekend. I did manage to catch it at the time oh yes.

First one was definitely great (in a so funny it doesn't matter how tired the plot is though I think it's a parody of traditional horrors anyway).
