I was at a flea market and picked up some pokemon figures at the bottom of a bin for a few bucks.

Several of them are pretty easy to spot as legit. However, I have some "Tomy" toys that I just don't know about.

In my searches I found that these Takara Tomy 1.5 inch figures are more notorious for being faked. After an hour and half I just can't find anything straightforward for spotting these fakes.

Insight into the copyright marks, the numbers that are pressed on the toys, etc would be helpful.

For instance, the ones I have have nintendo's first 3 Japanese symbols used in the copyright line, not "Nintendo" written in English letters.

Images or videos comparing a real figure to a fake figure would be great. Any links or advice would be graciously accepted.

if there's a red counterfeit word listed, click on it and you'll see pics of the usual fakes.
