Did it poop the rug yet?

I remember the day I got my puppy, he slept on my lap on the ride home, and then I laid down on the couch and he took another nap on my chest. I was really paranoid he was going to pee on me, but he was a good little boy.

I mean, he still pooped on the carpet a couple times, but he was really quick to potty train. I swear it only took like a week for him to learn to get one of us to take him out if he needed to go.

Puppies are horrible monsters. They're cute, but after about 5 days, they become intolerable little hellions that don't ****ing listen to you. My family's dog is just leaving that phase.

He's a cute little hellion, though.

If you take the time to properly train a dog they can be amazing.

It takes a LOT of time to do it right though, so most people half ass it and wonder why their dog is "horrible".

Oh yeah, I've known some really awesome dogs. My grandparent's German Shepard was probably the smartest, hardest working dog I've ever seen, it was awesome. I'm just not a dog person. I have my awesome cat, that's all I need.

I don't care about this topic since I have a kitten sitting on me atm.

Looks like a slightly darker coloured version of a dog my family used to have. Hope for your sake that your puppy is as quick a learner as ours was but without the hyperactivity (this was a dog who basically potty trained herself the first night we had her, but if you came up from the basement she'd start barking and jumping around as if she hadn't seen you for years)

So far hes only wanted to poop outside in the dirt. He wasnt supposed to be housetrained, but he seems to have kind of gotten the hang of it on his own.

He hasnt really gone digging anywhere yet, but we'll deal with it if he does. My old dog actually dug for as long as she could really, its not the worst thing in the world if he does(We still find bones buried in the yard all the time).

Our backyard is already filled with thicker, sturdier plants. Not really anything that he could feasibly dig up. We've got all the flowers and stuff in the front yard.
