The first seven seasons of SG-1 are fantastic in my opinion, and the next three are at least okay, but Atlantis is completely uninteresting to me and Universe was downright awful. Those first seven seasons can't make up for that.

I love me some TNG and DS9, and I've only ever been luke-warm on the Star Wars series. Stargate I'm kind of nostalgic for and I've only seen, like, three episodes of the new BSG. They broke a dude out of space prison, I think? That's about as far as I've seen.

I would really have traded all of Atlantis and Universe for a single additional season of SG-1, even one of the Ori seasons.

What's with all the Gate hate? If we're talking SG-1, then it's got some merit. Also, BSG as a whole, or just the recent series?

I think I'd have to put it something like:

Wars = Trek > Stargate SG-1 > Stargate Atlantis > Original BSG > Recent BSG >>>>>>>>> Stargate Universe.

Actually, the recent BSG would probably be higher than that, on account of them space scenes/battles.

And then we could break up Trek and Wars even further, but it's late and I'm tired. >_>

I haven't seen any Galactica, and I am having a really hard time picking between the other three. I haven't seen much of Star Trek yet (working on that, though) but I really like it....the old SG-1 I will take over anything on the list, but the later seasons and Atlantis are easily behind Trek and Wars....didn't even bother with Universe.
