I've lost track of how many topics like these are on the board right now and I'm sure you are all bored of all of em. But, I've probably got the craziest opinions of them all and I'm the best so it's all good.

I really don't have a preference where I start since I have pokemon I like from all types, it makes no difference to me. I'll start ranking when I get some types thrown at me to rank.

5th Favorite Ghost:

Dusclops



I actually used to dislike Dusclops quite a bit and I'm still wondering why and how I came around to like it. I mean, the ghost pokemon pool is quite small but I still like him quite decently. I guess he's quite unique and I guess I just started appreciating him a lot more after Gen 5 came out and there wasn't too much in the cool department imo.

4th Favorite Ghost:

Shedinja



This would probably be another case of the ghost pokemon pool not really having TOO much to choose from. I like Shedinja quite a bit but he'd probably only be in my top 100/200. I also like Ninjask more than Shedinja but he's still pretty cool with a very unique ability/stats.

3rd and 2nd Favorite Ghost:

Mismagius 3rd, Gengar 2nd



I've used both Gengar and Mismagius on my competitive teams a lot and have grown quite close to both. I love both of their designs, Gengar being completely badass and Mismagius being mysterious and super wizardly cool. Both are very awesome pokemon ^_^

1ST FAVORITE GHOST:

SABLEYE



I love this guy so much. I'm pretty sure he's still in my top 10 of all pokemon. I'm really glad with how they gave him Prankster for his Dream World ability. It made him very useful and battle and I love using him every chance I get. He's so tricky and playful and just so awesome. He's by far and away my favorite ghost pokemon. The only thing I find weird about him is that he's like less than 2 feet tall. Imo he should be bigger... lol.

FLYING POKEMON

Now with some types, flying in particular. There's a couple that would be on this list but I'm saving them for future lists. For Flying, I'm choosing it based on their more prominent typing for the most part

5th Favorite Flying:

Togetic



Togetic is awesome. I really don't show it enough love. I mean, it might also be the fact that Togepi and Togekiss are so awful that I like Togetic a lot but I dunno if that's the case. I remember the first time getting one, I was so happy and excited because my lame Togepi evolved into something this awesome, but was let down because it didn't have good stats or anything really. Now that I don't care about that junk anymore, I appreciate Togetic more and I feel it should get a lot more love than it currently gets.

4th Favorite Flying:

Noctowl



I'm actually surprised Noctowl is only 4th for flying types but then I remembered how awesome the 3 above him are. Noctowl is still amazing. Owls just in general are awesome and I'm actually glad that most of board 8 at least shows Noctowl some love. He's another poke I wish they did something with so that it wasn't awful in battle, but as I've said, it doesn't really matter when deciding what pokemon I like, Noctowl is still totally rad :3

3rd Favorite Flying:

Gligar



I love bats and Gligar is pretty damn close to a bat (+ Scorpion). He has the most adorable face ever and always sticks up his tongue which is also adorable. He's got a pretty interesting typing and it was new and exciting in da 2nd gen. I really just wanna give him a big hug, we'd be best bros :D

2nd Favorite Flying:

Archen



Archen actually took awhile to grow on me. Originally when the new gen 5 pokemon came out, I only had a select few pokes that I really liked and Archen wasn't on that list. It wasn't until after my first playthrough of the game that I really took notice of this amazing little guy. I still like Archeops as well, but it's not even close to how much I love Archen. Again like Gligar he's got such an adorable face and I really love the coloring of his feathers. <3

1st Favorite Flying:

DELIBIRD



As my 2nd favorite pokemon of all time, it's impossible to not have him first of all Flying Pokemon. Me and Delibird went through so much when I was streaming Pokemon Stadium 2. We grew together and finally at the pinnacle of our adventures, battling Lance, he pretty much destroyed the Dragon Master by himself, definitely proving that stats aren't everything. He's a loyal friend and completely adorable as well, couldn't ask for more from a great pokemon like him!

FIRE POKEMON

Alright, it has to be said. The Fire pokemon pool has VERY slim pickings considering numbers and due to my opinions, I barely could find 5, and one of the reasons is that I didn't really want to do multiple of family lines but kinda ended up doing so anyways derp.

5th FAVORITE FIRE

Quilava



Quilava gets 5th just because of having an awesome design. It really sucks that 2nd Gen also has Totodile because I really wanna choose the lovable croc, but unfortunately for Totodile, his 2nd evo doesn't hold a candle (literally) to Quilava in terms of awesomeness. He's quite cute as well :3

4th FAVORITE FIRE

Ho-Oh

I remember a time, when I was a little kid and I loved Lugia way more than Ho-Oh. But then I grew up and got much better opinions and realized that this fiery bird was awesome and had a great design compared to it's Psychic/Flying friend. There's a ton of amazing Ho-Oh art everywhere and I'm really amazed by most of the pictures I've seen of it. Yay Ho-Oh :D

3rd FAVORITE FIRE

Charmander



He's been a pretty highly valued pokemon of mine for quite a long time. He's never been a top favorite, but I've always loved little Charmander. He was my first ever pokemon card when I started ^_^. It's unfortunate his line gets worse as he evolves... Charmeleon is still pretty cool. I'll never forget the first episode with Charmander where they save him from the rain ;_;

2nd FAVORITE FIRE

Torkoal



Torkoal is another example of a pokemon that's really grown on me over the years. I never payed attention to these forgotten pokemon until a few years ago but now I'm starting to realize how great they are. Torkoal is adorable in his own way, he may be just a pure fire type, but he's all badass to me. I really wanna get a Torkoal on my team for the funsies. He's one of the most underrated pokemon of dem all imo.

1st FAVORITE FIRE

CYNDAQUIL



They really hit a homerun with this family. I even like Typhlosion quite a lot as well. Nothing compared to my love for Cyndaquil though. Ever since he came out and I chose him as my starter, he's been in my top 20 AT LEAST. He's never strayed far away from my love and he's always pulled through for me in several of my many random pokemon playthroughs. Perfect design, completely adorable, best fire type pokemon. Homerun? Grandslam more like it, Cyndaquil is a great friend ^_^

I've used Noctowl so much and in many different ways, it can be quite annoying and unexpected in the right circumstances but yeah, I really wish it had more going for it.

I'd love it if it had the Special Attack to run one of the coolest abilities ever AKA Tinted Lens, I was happy when I found out that he would get it but he just can't pull it off and I had to go back to basics with the special wall. They should at least give it Calm Mind, which is way overdue.

I'd still take Noctowl over Pidgeot or Unfezant though.
