yep. i just mash x and accept anything it finds because the online is so damned amazing

i've had two really bad connections and maybe a handful of dropped connections in the ~250 battles i've done so far

You can use custom char online right?

Cause I made this pretty damn awesome Valkyrie character and I want to use her online.

I just have no idea which style to give her.

Like I tried Pyrrha style because of Sword and Shield, but Pyrrha's animation just don't fit at all.

Maybe Omega Pyrrha? I haven't even noticed if she doesn't animate the same as normal Pyrrha.

I just want to get that Ezio trophy outta the way. I'm not very good with him and I have no intentions of ever trying to be good with him. Might as well get it out of the way in the early stages where everyone sucks...but it won't even let me find a match. ;__;

If you're looking for a single player experience, don't buy SC5. If you want the most polished gameplay of the series on possibly the best fighting game netcode to exist so far, then get SC5.

Also, CaS.

EDIT: As for the 1.4 score from Gamefaqs users, well....they're Gamefaqs users. If you check out the actual SC5 boards, all of the complaining is about how Namco ripped them off for not including a character or because their fighting game didn't have enough single player modes.

Super moves feel natural to me, they aren't very long animations, they are all blockable, and not too many(that I know of) does any amount of devastating damage.

They're basically just combo extenders, though a handful are fast enough to punish things that aren't normally punishable. The addition of meter and EX moves adds a new consideration into the system, and overall I think it's a pretty good addition. Certain moves that were previously unsafe can be made safe for the cost of meter, some moves just do more damage, etc.

They aren't as easy to mash out like in SF4, either. There's some startup to each one that you can be hit out of if you try to throw them out randomly.

Alpha Patrolklos' super is 8 frames, meaning it can punish almost anything on block. But it doesn't do any more damage than a throw, so it's okay. Algol's does a ton of damage and is instant, but to get the full damage, you haev to use both bars, meaning you're sacrificing a lot of other stuff. Ivy's and Astaroth's grab supers seem useless because they're telegraphed by the flashing of their arm, not sure how to feel about those. Xiba's and Nightmare's auto-GI supers seem stupidly good, I already hate both characters enough as it is.

A guy was owning me with Cervantes, then he did his spiral move a flew off the course and I won via ringout. The dude just fell apart and I won easily. lol

I feel like I would get fun out of this game and I have a 60 dollar gift card to Gamestop but I just don't know. SF X Tekken comes out in a month and I already have it pre-ordered and my schedule is really busy right now. I also have one of those "buy 2 used get one free" coupons so I might just wait until a little bit.
