I'm hoping for more boss fights like that in ME3. And more environments like the outside of the Broker's ship.
I've got two more Shepards I want to finish before ME3 drops. My pure Renegade Vanguard and a Paragade Soldier. I don't know if I'll have the time, though.
I have a Male Renegon with no ME1 romance who romanced Tali in ME2, and a Female Paragon with no ME1 romance who romanced Thane in ME2.
Gotta finish my Male Renegade who romances Ashley and Jack, then a Female Paragade who romances Kaidan and no one in ME2. Just to see a few different outcomes to the romance plotlines.
I'd like to have someone with no romances at all but that's a lot of ME2 to play in a month.
Oh crap... that reminds me that I only actually have one ME2 file that could transfer to ME3, and that's my Soldier Insanity run. Since I still haven't finished with any of the other classes, but I have files with them all. Hmm... And that Soldier is a Paragon. Well time to get crackin' on that Vanguard. Actually maybe I'll go with Infiltrator. That was my first class in ME2, should be my first in the third.

Infiltrator was my first class, too. He's gonna be the first character I take into ME3, mostly because he's the first Shepard I made way back in ME1. Well, technically he's not, since I lost that save, but he's a remake of that character.
I'll probably use my Sentinel for my second playthrough of ME3. After that, who knows?
The demo is already available? I need to get on that.
But first, on another note, I freakin' love being Infiltrator on Insanity. Headshotting enemies left and right with the Widow and killing them instantly is just so damn awesome.

Demo was really fun, just got done playing it as an Infiltrator. My girlfriend's about to run through it as an Adept, then I think I'm gonna try Sentinel.
Combat seems faster paced than ME2 and it seems a bit more difficult. Skill trees are pretty cool, you get some nifty effects and synergy between powers as you go further into the trees. The weight of your guns seems to be incredibly important since it determines your cooldowns. During the second segment of the demo I was kind of annoyed since it gave me a shotgun, pistol, SMG, and assault rifle but no sniper rifle and I couldn't find a place to change my weapons or customize them. There might be one, I may have just missed it.
Also, there seems to be more interaction between squadmates in cutscenes. There's some pretty awesome banter in the beginning of the second part of the demo.
I'm even more hyped for the game now. Can't wait to try the multiplayer in a few days.
Anderson in the first part when you're LV1, then you jump to the mission on the Salarian homeworld that's been shown a lot. You've got Garrus and Liara there.
I'm really loving the new skill trees. After looking through both the Infiltrator and Adept ones there's a lot of ways to plan out characters and maximize effectiveness with power combos. For instance, in Incinerate's tree you can unlock Freeze Combo, which makes Incinerate do 100% extra damage to frozen targets. Infiltrator still gets Cryo Ammo, so you can even set it up yourself. There's a lot of other stuff like that. Oh, and ammo powers seem to be a lot better overall. They also don't have a recharge time anymore, which is nice.
I can't stress how important weight is gonna be. In the beginning when you just have a pistol your recharge times are 1-3 seconds. Later on when it forces 4 guns on you the recharge times jump to 10-20 seconds depending on the power. Gun choice is definitely gonna be a big deal.
If the multiplayer skill trees are similar it's gonna be really fun to work together and set up combos.
Loved the fight against the Atlas Mech. At first I was like, wtf how am I gonna beat this thing without a Heavy Weapon and all these Assault Troopers prancing around. But then by using basic power strategy etc I made it. I dislike the rolling tho. It happens a lot that I wanna take cover behind something but Shep just starts rolling around and gets shot. Not every place seems to be able as cover too, even if it looks like it. Also harder on you is the fact that low cover doesn't completely protect you and standing at the side of a vertical cover also doesn't. Played through it as a Vanguard (dat charge) will try as well with other classes.
Nah, the multiplayer doesn't become available to the general public until the 17th. Some people have early access from buying Battlefield 3 or winning it on Facebook.
Ouch, looks like Tech Armor got severely nerfed. Power cooldowns are increased by 80% when you have it up. It no longer detonates automatically, either. You have to press the button again.
Although with one gun the cooldown on Throw is still less than in ME2 even with TA up. Guess with Sentinel you have to chose between lots of guns and TA to tank or fewer guns and more powers. Keeps it from being too overpowered, I guess.
Yes it is, it's got new stuff, at least I assume it's new. I played male shep before, played femshep in the demo, could pick wild hair colors like purple and blue and stuff, and makeup, I assume all that's new. Can male shep have purple hair too I assume?
