Even if they do have more bandwagon fans than the Giants have real fans, it's not like they all bet on the game, even so the Giants should be favored by 4.5 or 5 points, not near enough Pats* fans to move the line 8 points.
1. The spread is not actually based on what they think the game will be (3 points), but rather it's a number used to try and entice betting. 2. Teams that have a lot of historic significance tend to be bet heavier than other teams. For example, the Cowboys always have more points in their advantage than they should, because they're the cowboys. It has nothing to do with the teams as much as it has to do with the perception of teams and what Vegas (and other places) think will get them the most action.
Anyone who knows anything about football knows that if you were going to bet a team straight up, it should be the giants, because a lot is in their favor (won the head to head matchup, team is getting hot at the right time, Eli is dominating, team is healthy) while the Patriots have issues like Gronk possibly being injured.

Ray Rice was held to 67 yards. Multiple stops and turnovers when needed. They can't help who the QB was, the point was they had constant pressure on them the entire game with only a 4 man rush.

Why would Vegas EVER have NYG laying 5 points in this game? I get that 99% of your football chatter is just whining and yelling on the internet but why bother discussing the line in such a manner? so I think you ACTUALLY believe the line should be Giants -5. how does that line make any sense?

Nope, after Sunday they will BOTH be Hall of Fame QB's. Congrats to Brady, he is now woefully inferior to one brother, and tied with the other. Eli is absolutely an Elite QB in this league (just like he said before the season) 4th at worst.
So how exactly are they tied? Brady is better in every major statistical category. Unless the measure of Quarterbacks is decided by who you like more, Brady is clearly better.
