Normal is definitely the "adorable" type. Chinchillas and ferrets and... fox thingies are awesome, so 1, 2, 4 are naturals. I personally like Lopunny a lot, but I'm not 100% sure why. Dunsparce is the only "not cute" contender, but it makes the list due to obscurity, name, and design alone.
Fire is full of fluffy things that I would like to hug. Arcanine, Ninetales, and Flareon are all fluffy and awesome. Too bad Flareon is so difficult to make useful in the actual game. Charizard is pretty awesome, and Torchic is adorable.
Believe it or not, Dragonite is the only dragon type I actually really like. The rest of them range from "pretty good" to "meh". Anyways, Dragonite is cute and has a very simple yet appealing design, and is also a lot of fun to use in the games. I still don't understand how Altaria is a dragon, but it beats another Flying/Normal or Flying/Water type.
Electric is another one of those types where there aren't many standouts for me. The five I listed are all really good Pokemon, but I'm not sure if any of them would be in my top 15 or so.
Milotic and Vaporeon are miles above the rest of the list, which is all kinda clumped together with other water types I like but didn't quite cut it. The biggest shocker here is Surskit, but I've always really like its line. It's a shame it becomes yet another bug/flying on evolution and has terrible stats. Also, there was some overlap with the Ice list and I don't want the same Pokemon on two different lists, but Ice needs all the help it can get.
This was the hardest list to do so far, and the top 3 can really be in any order. Once again, I had some overlap with other types so those Pokemon are getting put in those lists. This made grass a bit easier, but still tough.
I have a feeling I like Zoroark more than most people. Granted, there's a pretty steep dropoff from Umbreon to Zoroark, and the last spot could have potentially been filled by several things. People who know me well saw the top two coming I'm sure.
From: GenesisTwilight | #026 Did you ever see my thread a few weeks ago on "So why is it that I've been here since 2006 yet GenesisSaga is the first person people think of"?
Yeah, why?

Holy crap you have God-tier opinions (mostly because they're so nearly identical to my own). Surskit was the only thing that struck me as odd there. Replace him with Wartortle or Marshtomp, remove the /Samurott next to Dewott and switch the order around and you'll have my top 5. That's so creepy! And cool.

You can probably tell that I like the eeveelutions a good amount. I think Glaceon is really well designed, as it has a nice color scheme and those cool dangly things. Lapras has really grown on me ever since I decided to use one in Soul Silver, and Articuno is a classic. Dewgong has a hilarious voice in the anime ) and is pretty cute. Spheal is more or less a filler Pokemon, as there aren't really any ice types left I like all that much. Spheal at least has an awesome name and looks silly.
Also, I have no idea how people can like Frosslass. It just looks... stupid. Especially the arms coming out of the side of her head.
Three legendaries. Go figure. Girafarig is of course the oddball pick here, but I like giraffes and Girafarig has always intrigued me. I've used one in NU battles before and found it to be quite useful. It's a shame it's one of the least remembered Pokemon.
This was another tough list, as there are no standout bug types for me other than Masquerain and Galvantula. I literally couldn't decide between Yanma and Sewaddle for my last pic, so I got lazy and put them both. Venonat may seem like an odd choice, but it's strangely cute and bouncy and has a cool voice.
Again, another hard one. Cobalion is really awesome looking and is my favorite of the Musketeer or whatever they're called Pokemon. The rest are Pokemon I appreciate but not on the level of Cobalion. Probopass is there becaues of how ridiculous it is.
