There's just not a lot to say about this match. I feel Molly is kind-of overrated. She's a protective mother-hen who is very strong-willed about what she thinks should be done by everyone. And that's...pretty much it; all subsequent scenes are basically a riff off of this stereotype. How protective can we make her? How strong-willed can we make her?
You know, it occurs to me: what on earth does Molly do with her time when all the kids are off at Hogwarts? Like...she's a stay at home mom--that appears to be her job and role in life. But her kids all go to boarding school--WTF does she DO for the months on end while they're gone? Extra gardening? Not that I haven't known stay-at-home moms; my mother did it for 15 years before going back to work. My sister did it for a while. But it's a full-time job because there are kids to look after. Take the kids away and you'll go crazy without work. Like...not long after my sisters and I left home, my mother started building a vacation house, and running races (all while doing a 60-hour-a-week job).
It just goes to show: we don't really know who Molly is behind the "mom" persona. And it's not like she doesn't get 10 months out of the year where she must have a hobby or something. The closest hint we get to Molly's personality when she's not playing the responsible one is "Mollywobbles".
Snape on the other hand, is in the running for best character in the book. I'd write more, but I expect I'll be writing a lot about him in upcoming matches....

Maybe it's because I had the character of Snape spoiled for me before I even started reading the books. Maybe it's because I had it spoiled for me again WHILE reading the books for the first time. But I'm not nearly as endeared to Snape as most people seem to be. I'm sure I'll have more opportunities to get into it later. So I won't go into it this round.
I don't hate Snape so much, as I don't think he's as great as so many people say he is. I'd probably vote him over a lot of characters. But Molly is pretty awesome.
She shows a kindness that few others really show. More compassion towards Harry than perhaps anyone except for Hermione. Aside from Sirius, she's the parental figure that cares the most about Harry's welfare.
She's also one of the few characters to actually kill a death eater. In fact I'm not really sure we see any other character kill a death eater. We may hear about it. But usually it's all about capturing them. And the Death Eater she killed wasn't some random nameless death eater -- She killed Bellatrix ****ing Lestrange. Molly is one mother who's cubs I wouldn't want to mess with.
And she raised 5 awesome kids. And her other two aren't so bad either. She also raised two head boys.
It's a fair question though "What does she do when she's not raising her kids?" But you have to remember that until Harry's second year, she's had a child not attending Hogwarts at home.
I guess part of what I really like about Molly is -- minus the coddling -- she reminds me a little of my own mother -- DO NOT ****ING MESS WITH HER KIDS. and FOR THE LOVE OF MERLIN DO NOT PISS HER OFF even if you happen to be one of her kids. (My mother also raised 6 kids -- one of which even turned out to be a prat!)
(5)Molly Weasley - Okay, she's definitely a stereotype of a protective mother, but she's still a great character. In addition to being a protective mother she's also a member of the Order and takes out Bellatrix Lestrange. And she basically adopts Harry, who has no family of his own.
Snape, on the other hand, is by far the most overrated character in the series. First off, he's just a jerk. Ultimately I didn't even care which side he was on, someone who spent his life being mean to kids is a bad person regardless. And his motivation wasn't so great... Voldemort killed the woman he was obsessed with, so now he's "good"? Except, if he felt any real remorse for getting Harry's parents killed then maybe he wouldn't have tormented Harry for six years. Somehow we're supposed to believe he loved Lily and wouldn't hurt her son... even though he demonstrably hates Harry and repeatedly tries to get him kicked out of Hogwarts. Nope, his motivation is pure selfishness and revenge against Voldemort. Also, his characterization is kind of contorted just to keep people guessing about what side he's on.

"Congratulations Thomas and Sylvia! But their happiness does not continue long..."
I understand why he hates Harry... He ressembles his father very hard and that was a piece of sh*t :-). Harry know-it-all Potter who loves attention, must be a pain in the ass to have in class ;-)
