I was complaining that I didn't want to play any of the games I own, when my roommate asks me if I wanted to play Knights of the Old Republic. I remember people talking about this game a lot when I was younger. I never played it, though, since I didn't have an Xbox or a PC.
So, going into this completely blind.

I didn't know what the differences were between classes, so after playing around for a bit, I decided that the rogue gets the most skill points and access of powerful and exclusive feats. So, regardless of what character I want to make, I should make a rogue. So I did, and dumped all the dex into str, because I wanna be a jedi man.
After a few tutorial fights, the game crashed. Ah well.

I always got Flurry, Power Attack, and Critical Strike maxed out. It's not like you're low on points. And they seem to have their advantages for different situations.

Flurry's better for enemies with weak defense, power attack's better for tougher enemies, and critical strike.. meh, think I looked up some statistics once and it averages out to lower DPS unless some really specific conditions are met. If I'm playing serious I usually get power attack and stack it with the +attacks off Knight Speed, if I'm just screwing around I get Flurry because hitting like 5 times each attack is fun
You can always just give party members what you don't have and prioritize their attacks towards who they're best against! Better than wasting points maxing out every skill on every person imho. Not like it's an entirely meritless idea, but you could be picking up some other sexy skills instead and diversify!

I remember not having any difficulty getting all the skills I needed/wanted. The game is pretty easy and you don't really need to strategize either. I liked having all the attacks and mixing it up, more fun that way.

well geez, now I can't even get the game to boot. Looking it up on the internet, it's because my computer is too new, and there's nothing that can be done about it.
I might try running it in wine tomorrow. It supposedly has a platinum rating.
