Both of these choices were easy. I don't think this round even merits explanation, but I'll probably respond if someone sparks an interesting enough reason why he or she feels the other character in either matchup is more deserving of votes. (Good luck with a convincing Buckbeak argument though).

Hmmmm....I'm pretty sure Oliver Wood has more screen time than Kingsley Shacklebolt.
What does Oliver Wood do? Umm...well he's part of an excellent scene where McGonigal goes searching for "wood", and then he...runs some Quidditch practices and gives some speeches that the Weasly twins have memorized. And he explains the game of Quidditch to Harry. And he screams sacrilidge when the teachers start talking about stripping down a Firebolt, as if some deep holy symbol has been urinated on. And...he plays for Puddlemere United after graduating, I believe?
What does Kingsley do? He...guards the muggle prime minister. He appears on Potterwatch and says some generic stuff. I think he was the one in charge of the search for Sirius, and has a somewhat funny conversation with Arthur at the ministry where they talk about molly making meatballs. And he gets made minster of magic at the end.
Ok, that's my first pass; Wood's definitely in the lead, let me pull up some wikis to see what I missed.
Kingsley: he was in the scene in book 5 where Dumbledore makes his escape from fudge. He cast a memory charm. "The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming." Ok, that's a pretty awesome line; not sure how I forgot about it.
Oliver: "Bad news, Harry. I've just been to see Professor McGonagall about the Firebolt. She - er - got a bit shirty with me. Told me I'd got my priorities wrong. Seemed to think I cared more about winning the Cup than I do about you staying alive. Just because I told her I didn't care if it threw you off, as long as you caught the Snitch on it first. Honestly, the way she was yelling at me ... you'd think I'd said something terrible." Yessssss Oh right, Oliver tried to keep Harry a secret weapon for his first match. Oooh, Harry offered his resignation from the Quidditch team, and Oliver refused to accept it, forgot about that. Oh right, early Quidditch scenes were better--forgot about that. Snape referreeing, and Oliver's outrage. Malfoy buying ridiculously good brooms for the entire Slytherin team, and Oliver's plans for that. Double booked Quidditch pitches where Oliver confronted Beltchy or whatever his name was. Oliver declines the offer of a rematch from Cedric after Harry falls off his broom from dementors. Oliver is the one who pushed Harry to learn dementor defence (which led to learning the Patronus charm). Aw yeah, Oliver ordered Harry to knock Cho Chang off her broom.
You know, I think I was initially leaning towards Kingsley because I had read the last three books more recently and assumed Oliver's scenes weren't that great, but Oliver actually has quite a few good scenes that I hadn't thought about at first, and the screen-time gap is actually very large.

Kingsley is shown to be a badass, but aside from that he doesn't really do that much. I can't specifically remember anything he actually said. Oliver was also a relatively minor character, but I found his personality a lot more memorable, even if his schtick was basically just really really wanting to win the quidditch cup.

Kind of a tough choice, but when it comes down to it, Buckbeak doesn't actually have any lines. Trelawney initially seems like a big fraud (and she is), but when we later learn her backstory, it's pretty cool.

Also, Buckbeak was the symbol of Harry and Hermione's love... which then led to the ridiculous scene in book 6 where they laughed at the rumor that Harry had a hippogriff tattooed on his chest, which the shippers took as a slap in the face from Rowling. I'm still not sure how to interpret that, the scene just makes zero sense on face, but it's also pretty hard to believe that Rowling deliberately included a shipper reference in the book just to smack them down.

Aw yeah, Wood is even more awesome than I remembered. The part where he told Harry to knock Cho Chang off her broom was great. (And sadly, it was the best Harry/Cho moment we ever got... I know that relationship couldn't last, but I was kind of mad she didn't write even one scene where Harry was happy about getting together with her).

(3)Kingsley Shacklebolt Kingsley Shacklebolt -- the only wizard to earn Vernon Dursley's respect. He's capable of blending in with Muggles perfectly, which -- I missed this so many times -- is a perfect skill for an auror. Wood's alright. His obsession with Quidditch is funny. But Kingsley is KINGSLEY ****ing Shacklebolt. His speeches on Potterwatch are cool too.
(7)Sybill Patricia Trelawney Buckbeak does a few things... but ol' Witherwings never really has much character. Trelawney on the other hand is a great source of humor and drama. Her predictions -- both real and fake -- are great. She's the worst teacher at Hogwarts, for sure. She reminds me of those TV psychics. Fraud all the way. Though I don't think she realizes it. But many of her predictions DO come true.

That's probably because he doesn't say much. There are scenes where he's present but stoically silent. If you gathered every line Kingsley has throughout the books, you'd have...I'd estimate three paragraphs of text?
Granted, he's a little like Neville's grandmother in that people talk about him more than we see him talk.

Kingsley Shacklebolt is a god damn badass. Even Vernon respects him. He is the first minister of magic in a while not to suck badly. He is one of the strongest wizards on the planet. He oozes style. Oliver Wood is cool and all but its KINGSLEY.
