The second rapper then has 24 hours from the first rapper's post to post their own rap. From there another 24 hours for Rapper A, and from there another 24 hours for rapper B. -After the final verse has been posted, there will be a 36 hour voting period. -You can’t vote on your own match. -As always, keep the player hatin' to a minimum. -Extensions may be allowed on a discretionary basis. -In case of a tie at the end of the voting period, there will be a tiebreaker round. A new topic will be posted with the 2 raps from each rapper, and each rapper will then be allowed to spit a further 12 line verse, in the same alternating order, followed by another round of voting.

Usually if none of the lines rhyme with another line, but only rhyme within themselves, your lines are too long. It's basically like getting 24 lines, which is obviously a huge advantage. Just my 2 cents, I'm not sure if that's within the parameters of the contest, and if it is, then nice verse.

This section hurt you the most, the rhymes are basic and there are zero disses. It seems like 4 lines of filler imo.

Although there is technically a diss in here, it's a little too elementary for a final diss. Remember that this is the last chance to make your case for votes, you want to come strong, even the use of a one multi would be great here.

That's sort of what I was referring to when I was telling Ed I have trouble making the distinguishing between poetry and rapping here. I'm bad at making original/entertaining disses and like in the second verse I think that hyping myself up to some extent might have a similar effect but it's pretty clear that it doesn't at all.

Well if it's any help, I find it easier to just think of a good diss, and then build a few lines around that, adding/subtracting syllables to make it flow and then taking the time to make as much of it rhyme as possible.

Honestly I just like saying cool-sounding things instead of dissing and that's part of the thing. I start trying to think of disses and get distracted by random things. Like, I had a few lines set up and then got rid of them since they didn't really fit into the syntax of the whole thing

Like, 'Sacral Sabotage' I was so pleased with that when I actually had it in there. It sounds awesome but it doesn't diss. TIME TO PRACTICE MY DISSING

From: Ed Bellis | #015 I don't like my raps being read in blocks of 4. It normally flows better when it's natural and there's not line breaks and stuff impeding it. Can't speak for everybody else though.
totally agree here, most of my raps are 12 lines without a line break for the same reason.

And JC, I am holding your super-long verse against you to some extent, but the really damning thing is that it was twice as long as any of the others and yet you still hardly said anything in it.
Didn't like the long lines of JC's first, not only are they "unfair", but I also think they're really clunky and hard to follow in this case, which is why I'm gonna have to go with Anri
