My most anticipated title of the week, Dustforce is a platformer coming to steam, it won an award at the indie game festival for visuals, so hopefully the gameplay keeps up with the visuals. The trailer makes it look pretty fun to me.

omg did u red text from last night dats so me LMAO : ) im not a slut i jus liek 2 haev fun LOL : )
I think I asked this in another topic once but never got it answered: Will I need to keep the KoA demo on my hard drive until I play ME3 in order to get the bonus? Because the space on my hard drive is pretty limited, and I'm not sure if it's worth holding onto a single demo for months.

xfd dude, it's just a popularity contest on the internets. -Vlado
I think it'll be more like the DA2 bonuses from the Signature Edition/demo/everything else. There's no file for them on your hard drive, it just connects to your EA account which tracks what you're allowed to use and unlocks them when you log into the game.
-combat is pretty cool. It's like a mix of God of War and Fable, with easy to use ranged and melee weapons and magic at any time. I find it pretty fun.
-story already seems interesting
-exploration seems fableish, in terms of its very path based rather than just heres a huge world go explore it, which is fine, in some ways I like this more.
-unlike fable though, you get actual conversations, skyrim/bioware style. Also unlike Fable it appears like there are going to be a crap ton of quests.
-I love the inventory systems. this is a very loot-centric game, and these games with crappy inventory systems annoy me so bad. For this, any loot you get can easily be compared and equipped right away. You can also "junk" anything you dont need, which takes it off your inventory, and at merchants you can sell all junk in an instant.
-leveling up is pretty deep, lots of options.
basically I feel like they took the best parts of fable and the best parts of elder scrolls and combined them and it's awesome awesome awesome. easy day 1 purchase.

I'll play the Amalur and Darkness II demos for sure. Won't get the games unless they're cheap sometime though, gonna be bizay with the many mighty games coming out soon.
-- One Piece: Pirates with style! -= Metal Gear Solid: Tactical Espionage Action =-
Amalur is like a funky combination of Fable and Dragon Age. Seems neat, though the combat didn't feel quite as fluid as I'd like. Not sure I love the UI either. I'd like to spend some more time with the game, but we'll see how much time I have between 13-2 and ME3.

I do want to like it, honestly! Something about it just feels off. A lot of it is minor nitpicking (why can't I invert horizontal camera controls ffffff) but I dunno. I think I'm gonna play the demo again tonight.

did the first 15 minutes of Amalur. was the guy in the opening cutscene Curt Schilling?
otherwise it's a fun little game so far. I feel like my guy moves a little too quickly and I wish there was some targeting system. the spectral fates world thing just seemed a little weird to me, not sure how well that will play into the game once it gets going. worth pre-ordering I think.
Amalur was pretty fun. Seems like a rogue will be a blast to play.
The Darkness II demo convinced me to buy the game. I was planning on eventually getting it, as I loved the first one, but the demo was just so good I'm getting it day one.
