Replay allows them to get MORE calls right than they otherwise would have. I'll agree entirely that the manner in which NFL replays (and MLB replays) are handled is dumb. There's no need for the head official to have to go get under a hood. Just have some booth official buzz down with the ruling. The process can totally be streamlined.
