From: edwardsdv | #100 of course you did pick two that are closer to picture book than gamebook, cool story.
He actually said a choose your own adventure thing was exactly what he was interested in. He didn't want any ****ty gameplay getting in the way of the porn
hah, alright then. So long as he prioritizes his porn above all else, he sounds like a good guy.

Finished Rin's route. Got both endings. I don't think I can really verbalize my thoughts and feelings yet but damn. This is all I have to say about it now.
it's Listen to me girls, I'm your father. and PPP is just something like a company that makes it or whatever. My bad, it's just so much easier to type.
Oh, also Milky Holmes 2 ep2 was finally put out, it was amazing. It's disturbing it's actually the best show so far this season.
Look at this horrible taste. I barely have to point it out anymore for it to just shine through everything he types.

Connection finally fixed. Uggghhhh... backlog during Summer all over again. Come on Kazuko route... some time after the 24th but not before!
Persona 4 watched. Aww yeah 5 S-Links. New OP haters are crazy. What's with the fox? A deity? Brat. XD Poker Face. How true. Not the Baling-Baling Bambus! I mean Take-copters. lol Mascot hell finally breaks the face. Outright rejection, ouch. Oh god the fish XD. Oh hey, old Devil. Ahh, that's what the opening looks like. Rank up music now of all times? Huh, was expecting a Bright Slap for the boy. Good that he chose a different path. What's with Teddie's face? Seriously, what's with the godsend delivery girl? Ahh, MegaTen protagonists, Messiah most of the time. ORE NO HAREM! Love this ep.
Also, Yandere Kanojo read. MANABU YOU'RE WAY TOO FORWARD- oh, that. Fourth wall people. Seriously, Ran spin off now. Suit up! D'aaaaawwww.

Beated Lilly's route in Katawa Shoujo. Only got Rin's left and I'm immensely looking forward to it.
Emi > Hanako > Lilly > Shizune so far
Emi's route was incredibly fun, Emi certainly turned out to be a much better character than what she seemed upon first impressions. Absolutely adorable and wonderful. Hanako's route was really cute and enjoyable, though it felt a little too 'mild', I would say. Lilly's route was pretty good, though it felt really traditional and I didn't really like that. Doesn't help that I don't like her that much as a character either. Shizune's is just lol, did not enjoy it at all (well, it was good at the beginning).
Also, to quote Mac:
From: Mac Arrowny | #154 Oh, and best scene in Lilly's route was that final CG with Shizune. Beautiful. Wish there were more scenes like that, Shizune's and Lilly's relationship could've used a lot more development.
Yes! If they made that scene a little longer and made more out of it, I might have started tearing up. Sadly, it just ended though.
The latest Amagami SS+ started out nice....then a nobody character had to come in, man this is the exact same problem Tsukasa's story had. I hope the rest of the stories aren't like this where some nobody has to intervene, otherwise this is going to be a mess of a season.
-- Oh brilliant blade of cold as steel, rend the infinite darkness and crush my enemies to nothing... SAVAGE WOLF FURY
...hm. Ano Natsu's OP and ED are really grabbing me more and more. show has a heavy Onegai Sensei feel to it musically (and lead female) and that show had KOTOKO's best song in it. it's nice to see I've Sound doing stuff still. relaly need to find that massive discography i had of 'em.

Amagami watched. Good ol' Rihoko. Huh, could've sworn the friend joined the Tea Club in the manga. Oh goddammit, seriously? SERIOUSLY? What did she do to deserve this? Loving the OP. Good ol' bromance. Pervert since he was little. Ahh, the parents. Oh god it's Spot Light Stealing Squad again. I like them and all, but move on. Tried holding onto an eel once. Slippery little buggers. Oh god, tell me they're not going down this route. Of course the train is there.
AUGH GET TOGETHER ALREADY GODDAMN

HxH OP - Departure! is a pretty great song. thus far, of the released in 2011 albums that i've heard (aka, this is the 1st), it's off to a good start. 7/10.
Maken-ki ED - THERE ARE 13 VERSIONS OF THE SAME GODDAMN SONG. THEN THERE'S A KARAOKE VERSION. THEN THE ORIGINAL ED PLAYS. WHY.
the song itself isn't even that good goddammit, but after the 6th time i was going insane. song gets a 4/10 but the CD gets a garbage can to the face.

actually isn't SS+'s OP or ED, but it's an ED collection of the 1st season. all the songs in the albums are here, including the bonus episode ones. have heard these (hell i actually own a decent amount of 'em) and 4th one (Ai) is easily the best one. i like most of 'em though. main exception is Sae's stuff. hate that voice. too soft. best song link:
Symphogear OP:
here we go now. this anime is going to be one i struggle to watch but will continue to watch BECAUSE of the music. would've dropped it an episode and a half in but it's literally an anime where the characters sing jpop to save the world. there's so much music that it gets buried underneath a lot, but the OP is really, really good. the OP itself, Sychrogazer, is over the top with how much they threw into the song. it also sounds really, really fun to play on audiosurf (and would be a nightmare in every rhythm game out there).
while youtubing it, found this version of Syncrograzer worth listening to:
delicious piano version. but youtube seems to have disabled most of the songs. piano's fine, and someone lowered the pitch enough to make a 'male' version. not the same, but until then:
Synchrogazer (grazer? not sure) gets a 9/10. might be the 2nd best OP this season, however the TV version won't tell you that. at the least it seems Pirates isn't the only massively overproduced piece of music worth jammin' to. we'll see how well Sketdance's 3rd OP is when the full version's out. that said, Nana Mizuki's pretty great in all 3 tracks in this single. Love Brick is much more normal but great too and can easily be used as a high quality OP or ED on its own right. 7.5/10. Risouron meanwhile is between the two and actually might be the best track here. it's less heavy than the 1st and really brings out the strings more as a result along with her voice. 9/10. average of single: 8.5/10.
she's a great singer and might be better known for doing Paz's song from MGS: Peacewalker. she's also the japanese VA. link to that:
so yeah, she's gotten around a bit and a lot of her music's good (hell, was one of the few good parts of Rosario+Vampire). this is no exception. album's too new to reliably be on youtube (and she's too big for it to stay there), so for now that's all you get. it's gonna be hard to find an OP or ED album that's better than this. think i'm buying this one. really hard to find all the music being great. best part is the last 2 are the kinds to really grow on you while the 1st is just all over your face. no links for them yet, but eventually they'll be online. just great stuff out of her this time.
hm. maybe i can do full soundtracks after all. Last Exile's 2nd season for example is pretty amazing stuff. for now anyway, this isn't too bad. but it'll pick up in the next couple weeks with 30+ items comin' in.

The King Wang. Listen up Urinal Cake. I already have something that tells me if I'm too drunk when I pee on it: My friends. - Colbert.
starting with this one. best track of the show is an easy one - I gotta turn it on. it's the main action song and is actually pretty good. the rest of it ranges from generic to crap save for a handful of tracks. even the soft song is too damn long. the only one that doesn't overstay its welcome ends up being that one track. song itself, 6/10. rest of the ost, don't bother, it's pretty bad.
Last Exile OST:
holy crap have i been missing out. need to fix my not having seen this yet because if the music is any indication this show was great. last exile's 1st season (i assume it's a continuation) was a surprisingly good and very underappreciated show. 2 i've heard nothing of, but its soundtrack is something incredible. from the first track, Silver Wing, you're introduced to a full orchestra doing a tune straight out of fantasy.
also apparently its OP was sung by Maaya Sakamoto. and its minute and a half was pretty damn good. this should've been in the top 5 OPs earlier.
the rest of the soundtrack does not drop the quality at all. in fact it gets better and sounds like Gust did it because the Atelier series/Ar Tonelico series is a dead ringer for this. the Hitomi tracks are very much so what you'd expect of her (she did the Code Geass soft vocal songs and that's exactly what you get here).
this soundtrack has this track, Original Sin:
and not too much longer after it, Red-Letter Warefare:
Merciless Attack:
Starboard (Hitomi vocal song that isn't the softest thing on the planet):
and a lot more can be linked that are all some pretty great stuff. however the single best song i liked on this OST goes to Sky to Recovery.
she's got a nice range of style in her, and is a damn fine composer. really need to watch this show now. soundtrack rating: 9.5/10. the only thing it's really missing is a battle theme honestly and that seems to be her weak point. she's great at making a piece of music match the setting and be good on its own right, and she works damn well with fantasy scenarios, but she's not able to pull off a good action theme here. likes harps too much. honestly expect the score to be a personal 10 the more i listen to it (i am a huge sucker for her vocal tracks and may very well like Starboard more before the month ends). this will put me to sleep with a nice smile on my face, but don't expect it to pump you up too much. it's entirely possible to do orchestrated and pump you up at the same time. case and point, ZOE: Dolores
but that's neither here nor there. still a great soundtrack.
