Alas I am going to shelve it for a little while as I am going to work on another project that I am super excited about. I can't talk about it too much but if all goes well it might just be one of my crowning achievements as an artist....

Whatever it is, it'll probably get my money. Everything Retro touches turns to gold. So far they've made the best Metroid, Donkey Kong, and Mario Kart....if they want to try their hands at Zelda too, then more power to them.

I wouldn't give them credit for MK, it was basic copy and paste with some new tracks and single player was rubbish. And DK wasn't without it's issues. But yeah For me Retro have to make a game THEY WANT, not IP's Nintendo give them and with restrictions.

MK single player was disappointing and barely had anything, but they didn't influence much.


Also did you know some of Retros team consist of iguana? My mind was literally BLOWN by this discovery.

Mario Kart single player was never anything special! And since MK7 has very good online there's almost no reason to play single player other than unlocking characters and stuff. Plus the Spotpass/Streetpass features add ghosts that make Time Trials a lot more interesting to play. But if you don't have online then I guess none of that would matter.

And yeah, I know Retro didn't do much, I just heard that they were in charge of updating all the retro tracks and did the DK Jungle track.

After Metroid Prime and DKCR I will buy pretty much anything that Retro puts out

I don't know that I want Zelda going into the hands of Retro, but they're games are always good. Metroid Prime top 20 game.
