Comedy only. I'm currently watching Happy Endings, which is freakin' fantastic.

So yeah, comedy only. Preferably no laugh track, or at least a subtle one like HIMYM (where you barely even notice it). And good characters are important too.

Parks and Recreation

Those three are my most favorite, if you can find me more like those, that would be the best.

Comedy is my favorite genre for TV shows and is practically all I watch.

Arrested Development and The Office are two of my favorites, and I always recommend them, even though internet people tend to denounce The Office's later seasons.

Arrested Development only has 3 seasons with the last two being cut down (especially the third one which only got 13 episodes) so you can finish it pretty quickly

it's run was kind of similar to Community with a small but dedicated fanbase and heaps of critical praise but instead of just being put on hold like Community in the middle of the 3rd season, it got cancelled outright

but it's getting new episodes soonish and a movie (i think)!

I've been enjoying the first season of Portlandia, and I think its second season is about to start too. As somebody else who almost only watches comedies, I'll still support thundersheep's recommendation of Breaking Bad (which has some dark comedy in it, though still unmistakably a drama).

Cougar Town. It's pretty much the spiritual successor to Scrubs. It doesn't start out that great, but after they re-tooled the show towards the middle of Season 1, it became awesome. Just ignore the name. After awhile, the creators even started openly mocking it in their title cards, saying things like "(The Unfortunately Named) Cougar Town".

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.

Imagine the most egotistical writer in the world penning his own horror series with himself as the Marty-Stu protagonist. Imagine it was really really bad, with terrible acting, awful dialogue, and the author's blatant prejudice creeping into the scripts. And imagine it was made in the 70's but then banned 'for being too scary'.

Darkplace isn't any of those things, but it pretends it is.
