Well, the combat and swordplay was the best the series could ever have to offer.
The items were pretty subpar for the most part, it was mostly just crap for puzzle solving. So were most items in other games, I suppose, but it felt more apparent here?

I think LttP and to a lesser extent OoT were better about this. It's been more obvious for the last few games.
oh yeah, when I first stole a key off an enemy, and a horn, that was awesome
then thought "oh man this can be used to steal stuff from people! awesome!"
... but there's nothing else to steal augh
didn't Wind Waker have some stealing weapon? I haven't played that game in soooo long, whereas I played OoT/MM/TP/SS just last year, so I kinda forget WW a lot.

Yeah, while I was descending the spiral to slap Girahim's s*** for the semi-final fight, a moblin just kept running and blowing his horn. After like, the eighth time, I took out the whip and just ripped it out of his hands.
Made the sequence even cooler.
Groose is much more of a boss than I thought he'd be, by the way, nice to see him actually play a part instead of just being Biff for the whole game.
