I don't really remember it as being all that big an event. BlAcK TuRtLe regulars the stats topics and many of the users there get invited as guests on The Show. I think people were a bit surprised that BlAcK TuRtLe seemed nicer on The Show than he normally does in the stats topics. Other than that, I don't think there was any really unusual about his appearance on The Show.

Then I don't think that was what I'm thinking of. I remember what was a 4 second appearance where he (or someone) just says ciao, then leaves.

I faintly remember "ciao" being significant, and I don't listen to Serious Business (blasphemy!) but if nothing else comes up that may be it.

Yeah that's exactly what happened. Came on during Melee/Brawl live show, then left with a simple "ciao". Given he's usually an ass it was a surprise for him to be such a dude.

I think it was mentioned on the Live Show Recap of the Melee vs Brawl livestream. Unfortunately, I didn't hear about the stream till it was like 4 hours in, so I dunno much about what actually happened really :/

Oh, Live Show for Smash, completely forgot there was one.

Makes a lot more sense now, thanks XIII (and everyone else!)
