I mean, compared to the countless other poorly controlled or overly frustrating minigames it ranks up there, but... Dear god, who the hell would ever want to minesweeper with more luck where you to keep a record of what you've pulled up?

I've grabbed 1 Gold and tons of Silvers from the game. You can get a lot of money fairly quickly as long as you don't care about winning. Considering the prizes, who really cares about actually winning.

SuperNiceDog was not so nice to my bracket. Congrats to SuperNiceDog for winning the Rivalry Rumble Guru Contest!
If it was just a crapshoot digging game like in ALttP that'd be one thing, but it's this weird sort-of-but-not-quite minesweeper and it's just not any good.
I wish I had know there was no heart piece for winning. When gossip stone said you get a "rare treasure" for winning I didn't know it meant rare treasure, as in gold skulls and whatnot. Augh.

lol, thank god I didn't check the stones. I would have been at that stupid game forever. Speaking of which, is there ANY Zelda minigame that you guys have kept playing even after acquiring its ultimate treasure?
EDIT: And not just to farm Rupees, but because you actually enjoyed it that much.

I've enjoyed it. No it's not Minesweeper, and no it isn't a total crapshoot, but I've made so much profit playing that game just digging up random silver rupees in expert. 500+ in one game with no Golds. Yeah, hitting bombs the first or second hole always sucks and blue and red rupees make it tougher to gauge what's what, but I think that makes it more charming.
As long as you're not trying to beat it, just to make a profit, it's fun.

The minigames in Spirit Tracks are amazingly fun to shoot for high scores on.
