One of them is ok (the one with the ice patches) but the other with all the seals is a top-tier course in the game

Yes, for sure
I just felt like mentioning Blizzard Bluff too since it is great as well... just not as great as Polar Pass

First thought here was Ice Cap. More or less the definitive snow level for me.

Mount Coronet was one of my favourite ever Pokemon dungeons. My second favourite though, after Ice Cap, is the Tibetan Foothills in Tomb Raider 2. Riding around on the snowmobile is great, great fun. In fact I'll just say all four Tibet levels are top-tier, like the rest of the game.

Oh yeah and Shadow Moses >_>

Also,

Dragon66116 posted...
Ice Cavern in Spyro 1. Winter Tundra in Spyro 2. And Icy Peak in Spyro 3.

Oh you are a quite superb human being.

Wow there are a lot of great snow levels.

Damnit, everyone already mentioned all the good stuff (Phendrana, DKC, Uncharted...)

Umm... the snow maps in StarCraft? That one town in Tales of Symphonia? The Thing? Some of the spec ops missions in Modern Warfare?

@iGenesis

Or, maybe, or in fact truthfully so, you're an obsessive, childish fanboy come crawling out of 4chan to spew forth horrible opinions.

If you want an audience for your stupidity you won't find it here.

That aside, GREAT ICE LEVELS TIME!

A good one that hasn't been mentioned yet is Freezeflame Galaxy. Hailfire Peaks in outer space, with some Cool Cool Mountain in there? Hell yes.

I also have to vouch for Diamond Dust. Sonic 3D isn't exactly a classic, but it's not as bad as people make it out to be, and the music is godly, in the Genesis version anyway.

Does Skyrim in general count?

I haven't played for long, so I don't know how much of the region is actually snow covered, but the opening areas are nice and cold and damn good looking.

Also, Shadow Moses Island from MGS series, and Alpine Mountains from LittleBigPlanet PSP.

The snow level of Battletoads for arcade. The one in the NES game is ass though

Polar Pass might actually be the best course in all of CTR. Have you ever seen the crazy shortcut over the water part of the course?
