Haha, I was fighting with some food during some of those matches so I can't say too much there. Did get in a couple of good matches against your Chun, though. I'm not sure how much SSF4 you play now, but minus the lag you could really get into it. I'm usually not one for Endless Battle, but we had a nice crew tonight! Think I forgot to add you, though!

I play a couple hours of 3S a day but not really much SF4 unless someone from here wants to play. It'd be cool to get more into it, I just usually end up playing 3S instead if I have free time.

There's a lot of stuff in 4 I gotta work on. Figuring out when to focus things, how block strings work, and when it's appropriate to jump. I have the general feeling that I jump in too much and it's not nearly as safe in 4.

Yeah I agree we had a cool group. Maybe we can make it a regular thing if my internet cooperates.

Yeah, it would probably help you get more into it if you didn't have to worry about tha lag. SF4 probably my favorite fighting game, just so much fun to play.

Major tournament starting for SF4 with quite a few good players, and $1000 and a free trip to Korea for the winner.

For the Android version.

Of course, they had to make it free to enter, and have a regular AE tournament to get people to show up, but it might be...interesting watching top players try to play the cell phone version of the game? At least the stream will contain large amounts of Gootecks and Mike Ross.

Ahahahaha oh man, those disconnects. At least the console version is pretty exciting. They're switching back to it after they finish this match. Except....that basically means that will never happen.

It's funny that this whole thing was set up by LG to promote their product and the game but it's doing the exact opposite now

was looking up some 3S hitbox data. Elena and Chun Li have the whackiest hitboxes ever.

Played about 12 matches with tran earlier, good times. Every match was Ryu vs. E. Ryu!

on another note, there's a lot of people I like on this board who own 360s and play fighting games and I have played 3S with almost none of you!

I have 3S, would could play sometime!

Except our connection is obviously no good, and I'm not nearly as good at 3S as I am at SSF4.

Would be worth a try! If you're worse at 3S than 4 and I'm better at 3S than 4, maybe we'll meet in the middle. You were obviously significantly better than me in 4, haha. And we had brief periods of time where our connection was okay at least, so who knows.

Well known (and really good) 3S player Renic is chronicling his journeys into trying to get good at SF4. It just started up but I thought the prologue was a nice watch. Could be neat if he keeps going with it.
