America gets the 3G+WiFi model, Little Deviants, and a 4GB memory card for $350; our good ol' Canadian friends get the superior WiFi model with the same content for $300. It's still only $50 more than the base price for both, but I don't have too much of an interest in 3G model as it stands now!

Jesus Christ, are we really doing that "My handheld is better than your handheld" bulls*** in here?
I'm skeptical on getting any more handhelds, but if hackers can get some PS2-level emulation going with this thing, I might bite once the price falls a bit.
I think going for a high-end portable is pretty much Sony's only real option since Nintendo's covered the kid-friendly market and smartphones are dominating the casual market, but the high-end market's also going to be smaller since that demographic will be more invested in console gaming anyway. As long as they can pump out some impressive games, though, they could find some success with it.

I can't picture the Vita selling too well until a price drop. The 3DS didn't either though. For the average consumer $350 is going to be too much for a hand held and 1 game. For somebody who wants to get a hand held and has neither it's only going to look worse next to the 3DS bundle which is almost half the price. When the Vita launches it's going to be more expensive than the Wii, 3DS, 360 and PS3 currently are too I think.

That bundle would be good, but Little Deviants is literally the launch game I have the least interest in.

No, but I think the Wifi model is the one Im more into too.... time to get a Canadian Vita package.
But from what i understand, you dont NEED a memory card, you just need one to download games(obviously)

From: shadosneko | #015 and you can't emu anything that you can't with something else most likely.
My hope is that we can get some decent DS/3DS emulation with the touch screen. Also PSP kinda struggles with N64 and even SNES emulation. With the extra power of the Vita, theoretically you can implement more accurate emulation to improve compatibility and performance.
