Here is one critique:

You seem to have a very awkward fighting stance and because of that, you do not derive any power from your legs (which is where the majority should be coming from).

I know it's "acting" but to sell it, it needs to look real and it never will if you don't use your legs.

I know what you mean, since I took boxing and used to street fight. At first, I tried to just use my boxing stance completely, but there are some stage combat techniques that require your arms/hands/legs to be in certain spots/positions. I tried my best to emulate the boxing stance while being able to pull off the theater techniques, but it just didn't end up working out.

To piggyback on what Anri said, when you are throwing your right cross or really any punch using your rear hand, and since you are right handed, it will mostly be your right hand, you should be pivoting on your rear foot and rotating your hips, as seen in this video...

LOL, I know how to throw a right cross. Right cross was one of the first things we learned in boxing.

I realize that, but anyone just watching that video wouldn't guess that. IMO, it's almost a natural thing to do when throwing a punch to use your legs and hips.

I understand this, but I already posted this:

Well, just trust me when I tell you that the majority of these moves do not require you to forsake good footwork/hip movement.

There's stuff we do that we don't show the audience. On the other side(upstage, I believe? I always the directions mixed up), we need specific hand/arm/leg positioning to make sounds and pretend we got hit/hitting. Plus, we'd need too much time to reset and do other crap, since stage fighting is way slower than actual fighting.

What's a jorts?
