but.... they already had a tough enough with a guy who was wrestling for years.
he sucked, but still. but there isn't any way Hero'd lose that. too big a star to fail something like that unless they also put somebody like Aries in it. but that ain't happening.

From: SmartMuffin | #449 And then there's "putting in a guy who has already wrestled professionally for several years." Having him on tough enough would be like having Rihanna on American Idol!
they put matt cross on tough enough 1!
then again most of the amateurs were better wrestlers than matt cross
They had an indy star on last season (Matt Cross aka MDogg20) and he got eliminated second.
Although with Hero it would be a bit different since he's not just an established indy guy, but also a pretty notable trainer. Anyone who is actually good enough to train other people who have gone on to success is probably a league above Tough Enough.

Yeah, with Matt Cross they had him work a match on the show since he said he already knew how and they were all like "Dude you were just out there doing flips, where's the connection with the audience?" and he was cut #2.

matt cross is literally the worst wrestler from any major indy i've ever seen
he singlehandedly ruined a chikara rey de voladores, which i wait all year for
i didn't watch tough enough solely because he was on it
oh i agree with you jakyl. aries is doing damn well for himself right now. just saying that unless you get somebody of that kind of caliber, putting Hero on that show is like Kaval in NXT2.... except he's bigger, more attractive, has a bigger fanbase, and better credentials.
he couldn't lose that if he tried.

yeah. hell, him or perfect jr when he still looked like he could be worthwhile (see: didn't have a live mic to kill the careers of 8 men) were what they wanted, but.... nope. low ki just kept getting da votes.

No idea about Luke, but IIRC Jeremiah had a huge ego and basically thought that since he got the biggest pop on Raw that he should already be a regular wrestler on Raw.
See you later bye.

Yeah, he did an interview afterwards that burned every bridge he could possibly have with WWE. I don't remember most of it but I believe he declared that all the judges were jealous of his natural skill and didn't want him to win because he would be better than all of them Lots of ridiculous crap like that..

WWE.com has a column up saying that Evolution should re-form, except now with Trips in the Flair role, and Orton in the Trips role.
It suggests either Dolph or Cody for the old Orton role, and either Sheamus or Mason Ryan for the old Batista role.
Because if there's one thing a company needs to kickstart things creatively, it's REHASHING THE PAST.
Although there's an epic typo in the article:
Put simply, Evolution was style incarnate and dangerous dominance all at the same time the divine successor of a slew of infamous factions that included the immortal Four Horsemen, the NWO, The Nation of Domination, The Cooperate Ministry and D-Generation X.
LOL Cooperate Ministry.

If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person? [HERO'S PLUNGE] http://img.imgcake.com/finegifdy.gif
finally saw amdrag and cody's pinning combination thing since, for some reason, it was the clip of the week on the soup
yeah, that's the same combination we have seen a million times (actually done pretty sloppily), followed by a little overkill on the reversals at the end
It'll lead to Johnny Ace talking on his phone. "Yeah, I know we gave you the big mysterious video package, Brodus, but it'll be even more special if we hold off till *next* week!"
--
We are thought, and reality, and concept, and the unimaginable
Does anyone else think Brodus will eventually return by clobbering Johnny Ace from behind while he's yukking it up with Otunga about how great it is that they put him off for another week?
My guess is that Ryder wins the US Title and then Laurinitis brings in Brodus to beat him for it (and gives him an opportunity right away to show the hypocrisy about not giving Ryder a shot).
Or maybe that's just wishful thinking because I want an "Are you serious, Brodus?!" line.

Regarding John Morrison, he had decided months ago, at least dating back to July, that he was going to retire from wrestling when his WWE contract expired and was going to try to get into acting. How serious he is about it, time will tell. He made a public statement that he was going to take time off and train. He could use time off for healing and probably to freshen up as well.

I would pay so much money for this to happen (well I still want it to be THE AYATOLLAH but this is the best alternative)

He's going to get taken out at TLC with another vicious sledgehammer attack, miss 2 weeks, and then make an incredible return that was foretold four weeks before he even got hurt.
