Basically, I just want to test some stuff out with land ownership mods. I thought about economy mods, shops, etc., but then the game will get too complex for most people here. I thought about Buildcraft and other mods that people would need to install, but I could see only me, Sceptile, and maybe a couple of other people playing with that.

I think a land ownership mod, with proper limitations, should be fine for us (that, and maybe a few other mods that won't change anything in terms of gameplay). I'll look for a good one and try to configure it, and then we could go test it out.

Also, random seed, or does anyone want a certain seed?

Okay, I found a mod for protecting land, that could even allow for economic stuff if we ever decide to do that. So, while I set up the server and test it, I thought I'd get some input on some rules.

For players:
1. No griefing, no trolling, no flaming. Let's keep it fun. You can disagree and argue with people, but don't go crazy.
2. Please use the landowner mod to set your property lines (details on how to do so later). This will protect your property, and is the only valid form of protection. There are limits on its use, however, to prevent griefing/trolling with it.
3. There will be a community area/Bro House/whatever with resources, mine areas, whatever else. Please only use it if you are planning to contribute to it, and don't take and horde the items.
4. You can have your own mines restricted for your own use, but if you do, please do not use the community mine.
5. Have fun! I know there's a lot of rules, but I have them because they were the main issues the last time we had a server.

For admins:
1. Do not use /give except for replacing items in the event of bugs or special events.
2. Only kick/ban people when necessary.
3. I will have AIM and server access (if that mod works out) on my phone, so IM me if there is something going on.

Whoops, I forgot to mention that I downgraded the server (so it is reverted back to the way it was) and so people who had problems should try now.

After it is confirmed working, I have these things to do:

1. Perform all PC maintenance
2. Overclock my PC
3. Install new video card (if it comes today)
4. ???
5. Minecraft!

...unless something else comes up.
