LoD and Golden Sun both outsold Chrono Trigger, SNES and DS versions combined?
I wasn't considering remakes or re-releases to count as the same game, but in U.S. sales, yes, they did. Legend of Dragoon: 960,000 Golden Sun: 860,000 Chrono Trigger (SNES): 280,000 Chrono Trigger (DS): 449,453 I can't find sales data on Final Fantasy Chronicles, though if those sales were considered CT would probably at least beat Golden Sun. -- [NO BARKLEY NO PEACE] ... Samus has been averaging under 52% since the end of the Power Hour.

I didn't expect Samus to be more frontloaded than the Pokemon Trainers. She's going to end up falling more percentage points (maybe 2% more) while starting from a lower percentage.

For the first five minutes of each poll, there's live updates - if you sit on the poll results page and F5 you will see the votes come in as they're made. Then it "freezes" and only displays updates every five minutes.

I don't know how much of this is the Bosses being strong compared to Samus being weak though. I thought it was Terra/Kefka becoming legit last round, but 53% on the bosses is an entirely different beast, maybe Samus is becoming much weaker than she used to be, because I don't believe you can throw all the blame on Ridley, he's no Waluigi.

Don't panic about this for Samus as an individual. Naked Snake Big Boss put 37% on Mario in a night match last character battle. Ridley might lose to The Boss straight-up, and then RIVALRY FACTOR. Leon isn't losing to Donkey Kong any time soon, but Ada Wong certainly made it look that way, and she probably actually beats K. Rool straight-up. If Wolf can drag down Fox, and Meta-Knight can drag down Kirby, Ridley can drag down Samus. This is the same guy who got 57-43ed by Diablo.

Eh, fair enough. I didn't expect Samus to go 60+% on the bosses for sure, that would be foolish. But I thought a comfortable 55/45 win was within her reach, and it still wouldn't have been enough to give the trainers a fight. Unless the trainers' run was an enormous fluke, this team will look like garbage in the next round.
