So I watched the first 12 episodes over the last 10 and a half hours, which puts me at just after 2x5 which was Breakages.

I love everything about the show except tha it doesn't have any starting credits. And I bring that up because pure unadulterated praise gets boring fast. Continuing now.

Sure, why not.

Jesse's so adorably useless at enforcing and generally being more than he is, which is basically a drug addict with ambition.

Back teaching Chemistry. :D

And the lies about where the money is coming from are returning to bite Walt in the ass. Or not - he dodged that bullet, narrowly.

Maybe Jesse isn't such a baby about this. And the kid shows up and re-wusses up. Good, I prefer him that way. He berates the parents about giving the kid no food and bad TV... at least his heart is in the right place. Oh dear. Well that could've gone a lot better. Poor sap. And he recovers it well enough in the end. And steal the money from the ATM. And I really do love him for his heart, he did everything he could for that kid.

This uhh... spanish song. Funky. I heard Heisenberg, Mejico and muerte. Other than that 3~ minutes of thumb twiddling.

Don't bull**** a bull****ter? Really. Come on Walt.

Jesse wallowing in horror at what he's seen because life and death have consequences. I approve.

Hank is the only guy at work who doesn't speak spanish isn't he? Skylar going back to work is a pretty big deal, there's obviously going to be something between her and the boss guy.

Walt is pushing the idea of going into other gangs territories too hard. It ends badly. It has to end badly.

Holy **** turtle bomb.

Jane and Jesse. Yeahhhhh.

No more episodes for at least a couple hours probably.

My TOTALLY LEGAL version had it subbed. Pretty awesome song.

I can't believe you are already this far in the series... well I can, I kinda blew threw it when I started also. You're at the part where it starts getting realllyyyyyy good... Jane is awesome/hot.

I also love how Jesse is supposed to be the careless drug dealer but he cares so much about feelings/emotions while Walt is the family man and doesn't care about anything. Pretty unique theme that you don't see in many shows.

This whole initial scene is so wonderful, so predictable and absolutely glorious. Dat advert. Jesse and james already actually banging. I'm impressed.

I like that they do crazy turtle stuff and then show the serious mental consequences.

Lawyer is a douche - but I figure he's gonna win. I love how hopelessly out of their depth they are when it comes to the dirty side of this industry.

...the wrong bald guy on the wrong bench. Really? Saul showing up at the school reinforces how much I really like the guy and he probably does have the illegal smarts to make it work.

You know you're too into Pokemon when

Haha. Yeah. But Jesse James isn't really a Pokémon thing. <_<

I do like the Jesse/Jane dynamic though. Be interesting to see how involved Jane ends up getting and where exactly her lines are. The "company" now has a potential revenue of over than $1m.

Stuck out in nowhere, Jesse talking about drinking urine. These scenes, building on this main relationship are almost all brilliant. And now they (at least believe) they've lost any hope of rescue.

All the things Jesse suggests they could build or create - Walt can't create water in enough quantity to at least keep them alive? Water is made as a side product in virually every reaction, how hard can it be to isolate?

I was definitely not expecting that big a reduction in tumour size. Man, that is a real good feel good moment. And it's all so right - right down to Skylar not understanding the news. Again, the writing in this show just feels absolutely spot on.

And Walt is angry? He was hoping it'd be over I guess. That he'd be done. To escape life/pain/stress/the drugs? The amount that could be inferred/discussed by that 10 second scene of the punching the reflection is massive.

I am getting more and more curious about the pink teddy thing as well.

Walt is messed up. Getting your kid throwing up drunk is not a rational decision.

Jesse's comic heroes are amazing.

Walt is pushing the idea of going into other gangs territories too hard. It ends badly. It has to end badly.

Called it. :/

Saul is still the man who I said had the illegal smarts to make this work.

Called the Marilyn thing.

And the manager of the chicken takeaway is an impressive businessman. And skylar takes like a week to break open the illegal operation inside Ted's business. And quits. Huh.

Oh, Jane. Don't do that. :/

And now Skylar is back. Which means her and Ted are back on. Dammit,

And the call comes in. $1.2m on the line and Jesse is off his face. And Skylar is going in to labour...? Oh man. Walt's gonna miss the birth. Possibly the drop as well.

Missed the birth. :(

Looks like he made the drop. That is a LOT of money.

And Jane's father picked up on Jesse expecting an introduction. Nothing on this show is let go.

ANONYMOUS DONATION. To the paypal site. Genius. There ya go - they both thought of it.

Jesse and Jane drugging up some more makes me sad. Her FACE when he said thousand. Amazing. Jane's dad shows up and busts them and she has big plans for his money. And sure enough, blackmail time.

The two old folk running into each other in a bar is a coincidence and a half.

No. Jane no. No. Oh god no. Man you talk about everything having consequences, but **** I was not expecting that.

Dat intro.

Who ya gonna call? (Obv Saul) Well, that much was easy to guess.

The website seems to be gaining money fast.

... GUS. Son of a gun. And now he knows about the cancer.

And I haven't talked much about Jr., but he's been consistently good as well.

Operation time. "Which one?" Man drugs - they really do cause problems.

Man everything has collapsed now for Walt. And... teddy bear. Very cool, but I was hoping it was a much larger, future storyline thing. Also, was Jane's father doing that deliberately, because it seems to suggest it. And midair collisions just never happen.

Good finale though.

Nice bit of backstory on the Shiny Shoes brothers to start us off.

Hank just crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed.

Jesse with a beast of a speech. And now blackmailing Walt. :/

He did say it worked and that's a pretty good way of proving the vest stops bullets.

And Hank opens up at last. Incredibly honest and vulnerable, to Marie.

"I'm not turning down the money. I'm turning down you." This is possibly Jesse's best episode. And he's back in the fold. :)

Hank has been suspended and has been told Jesse won't press charges. Feels like Shiny Shoes time. And mysterious phonecall. Feel the tension rising.

Nailed one of them with the car. Hank's been hit, but escaped. Vest. Yep. And Hank is... left alive? Axe. Dropped the bullet the guy threw at him for free, That puts him out? Bullseye.

Not exactly sure what was with that intro, but assume it's related to the title.

Walt is incredibly anal about his numbers, to the point of working out immediately that they're down the amount that we saw Jesse undervalue. And there's the fly.

Broken light. Ouch.

Very anal. And he didn't get it.

"Say goodnight." Lights go out.

So a slow episode all told, actionwise, but interesting for getting some more insight into Walt. As I suspected, he doesn't want to be alive any more. He doesn't want to die - he just doesn't want to have to live.
