Liara in ME2 is a lot better with Lair of the Shadow Broker.

Definitely made me regret cheating on her with Tali. Hopefully ME3 actually punishes me for that instead of doing nothing.

I was a bit surprised that Liara wasn't the internet's girl of choice. The Asari exhibit much more sexuality than the Quarians (they are obviously Mass Effect's version of the Twi'leks), and unlike Tali, Liara actually is a romance option for both male and female Shepard.

I suppose it's partly because Liara is a traditional scholar while Tali is a techie, and the internet prefers techies above all. Also, Tali is more mysterious, what with the mask and all.

Anyway, it's somewhat of a tie. Wrex, Mordin and Legion top-tier imo. I like every squadmate though. Yes, every one. To varying extents, of course.

He's not getting as much love as I thought he would. He was easily the best character.

Mordin too, of course. And Wrex. Samara and Thane are pretty cool too.

I love Tali as well, honestly. She was my romance choice, since I didn't choose one in the first game. Sure, she wears a mask, but she takes it off at the end of ME2 to have sex and we know she must look good for a couple reasons at least: One, Bioware wouldn't make her ugly, they have more sense than that, I don't think they would disappoint us. And two, Shepard saw her face, and he didn't seem grossed out at all, so I'm led to believe she's pretty.

I never really got the Ashley hate. Mean, sure, she's a crazy bigot, but Liara prior to Shadow Broker was just boring. Kaiden was even worse

Correct, I actually hate Kaidan, mainly because he's Carth 2.0, and I HATED Carth. But at least he's not an offensive racist b****.

Liara was indeed boring, but she was an Asari, which made her hot, and she was at least nice. However, I would take Samara over Liara any day, and not even because of the boobs. I actually think Samara is pretty cool character-wise.
