I've gotten more into fighting games recently, and having one for when UMvC3 comes out would be pretty awesome imo. I specifically want one for the PS3, but being able to be used on the PC and maybe 360 would also be a plus. Anyone got some recommendations? I don't think I play enough to warrant one that costs like $150, but I dunno about how much you have to pay for a decent quality one.

There was a new fightstick that uses top of the line parts but is compatible with ps3 and 360 out of the box. Let me look.

Only advice I can give you is don't buy one because you think you have to. I've been playing on pad forever and arcade style sticks are awkward for me to use. That doesn't stop me from doing the same things others can do with their sticks.

But it's your call.

Yeah, I know I don't really have to, and I'm not really aiming for being a pro or some s***, but I can always play MvC2 ten times better in an arcade than on my PS3 controller.

But I mean, s***, I still play Melty Blood with a keyboard over a controller because I play better that way.

My stick was $60 and I love it, so I don't think you need an expensive stick.

and the madcatz one is the one everyone uses these days, it's a great stick. you don't really need experience with one or another.

Hori VX (360/PC) and Hori V3 (PS3/PC) are good sticks for 60 bucks each. They only have 6 buttons though, so no 3P/3K
