as was the promo work. honestly can't really find a flaw in tonight's smackdown, it even advanced storylines!

So in one segment Awesome Truth became the best tag team in wrestling period. Like better than any other tag team Miz was apart of and I am willing to say the best tag team since the attitude era. Their finisher is spot on (even if it is just both moves together), the promo was great, and that pose they did at the end just sold them as this team of badasses who arent just there for the camera but this is them and they are a legit team.

Not to take anything away from Kofi and Evan though. They are great and are bringing some much needed prestige to the titles in my opinion. Great team, but Awesome Truth is just fantastic.

The big thing Awesome Truth has over Air Boom is simply that Truth and Miz can both handle a microphone, and especially together they work great - Miz is very good but occasionally a bit bland, Truth is hilarious but a bit too unfocused at times, pair them up and Truth has character to spare and Miz needing time to talk prevents Truth from getting too weird and it just fits very naturally.

Mistake you're making - overlooking the fact that we might not want to be saved.

Air Boom doesnt really need to talk too much though for the role they are in. They have the Shelton Benjamin thing going on. They are not going to main event anytime soon so as long as they stay amazing in the ring they dont need to talk. Their matches tell entertianing stories and are exciting. It is more than sufficient right now. Whoever said Ziggler and Swagger are the complete heel foils to Air Boom I disagree and submit Awesome Truth. I am willing to call Air boom the most significant face tag team in the last, say, 5 years. And even then I cant remember someone significant before them. DX's most recent reunion I dont even feel was as significant to the division as Air Boom is now.


Also I love how Daniel and Kidd's feud is based around HBK and Bret. This has some potential

The problem with Air Boom not talking much is that it *does* hurt if they were to feud with a team like Awesome Truth. Against Ziggler and Swagger? No big deal, your promos are literally as simple as "let Vickie talk for two minutes, have face reference her being annoying, the end". Different story with Miz and Truth

Cena would actually have the exact same number if it wasn't for last year's Survivor Series, where his only role was Special Guest Ref for the main event.

They both came back from injuries at Survivor Series '08 and neither has had anything more than minor injuries since then that luckily for them didn't cause them to miss PPVs.
