it was basically soccer, where the field was displayed up and down instead of left and right
and the kicker...ITS IN THE FUTURE
I THINK the players were robots and the arena obv looked futuristic and ****. I remember one of the buttons was a slide kick. Thats all I can remember
the second game is a point and click adventure game. It was the first game of that genre I've ever played until Phoenix Wright
anyways, Um..the game started in an insane asylum. You find a cup, and capture a bug thats on the wall. You then give the bug to an employee, then he gives you a meal in return. You then use the knife from the meal and like, I guess break the lock thats on the window. You then escape the room and then have to escape from the asylum.
the funny thing is, when I was little, in one summer, my mom would take me to a little old lady's house, a church friend, and she would watch us for the day until my mom came back. she had a computer and she used it for typing, but if we were good, she would let us play this game. I have no idea why she had this game, its a complete contrast compared to her personality and demeanor
but anyways, does anybody here recognize these games?
Well, I'm out of guesses. Only other ones I can recall with robots are American Football (Cyberball) and Baseball (Base Wars) and those aren't even the right sport.
If you don't have any luck getting responses here, you might want to ask on the Classic Gaming board. They get a lot of topics with people asking for help finding games and are usually successful. Heck, they even have a trivia contest that's been going on for many years based entirely around finding games from obscure clues.
