I really can't help but feel underwhelmed with the whole thing. This game created some really memorable characters, though. The new inspector is amazing, as is Layton's new assistant. And when you see Goosey, you'll know you're in for a treat.

I dunno, the rest of the game didn't really seem as polished as the others. Most of the story and twists were telegraphed, and while the big reveal at the end wasn't nearly as clear as the rest, it was still pretty underwhelming. It's not much worse than any of the other titles, but it's definitely at the bottom for me. At least the puzzles were good!

Good, maybe it won't come out of f***ing nowhere this time then!

I love the Layton games for their puzzles, but not at all for their stories.

Oh don't worry. There's still a twist in the middle that makes no ****ing sense, so you're still screwed in that department!
