While this would never happen, I would love this idea. My favorite thing about Pokemon is playing through the games again and again with different Pokemon, and this would make that a lot easier, and make everyone's experience more unique.
But anyway, yeah, I'm not buying anything TC wants to be sold.

If they reboot they need to make it a completely different game
Like you have all the regions, except it plays like GTA/Just Cuase 2 and you can steal bikes and kill hookers with Charmander flamethrower and hijack Pigeots and crash them into pokemon centers

It's hated because there was no way to get your favorite Pokemon whom you trained and grown attached to for half a decade, and have them in the new game because of 2 terrible system changes that no one liked or asked for.
That and there was no way to get every single pokemon until a remake and console version later unless you gamesharked.
True. The inability to get my favorite Pokémon from my Silver version was the one thing I disliked about Ruby--and I'm one of those rare gamers that actually considers RSE my favorite main-line games. (Generation IV rates ahead of Generation III for me, but only because HG/SS were so damn amazing.)

Sorozone posted... I'm not opposed to the idea of going to every region, it's just they would have to change the leveling system by quite a bit. I think it would be cool to be able to go to all regions. Then be facing like, level 400 Dragonites or something, lol.
This would be awesome. They've probably got the technological capability to handle upping the level/stat caps. Make it so that the level cap is 1000 instead of 100, stats can climb into the quadruple-digits as well...and of course, use B/W's sliding experience scale, so that if you're training high-level Pokémon, they don't actually get experience for beating Pokémon that are way beneath them in level.
Of course, then you have the question of how ridiculous the experience would get if you had a traded level 1 Pokémon with an EXP Share start a battle and switch out against a level 500 Audino. It'd probably level up into the triple-digits right there.
Or screw the EXP Share/switch thing. What about FEAR? That would be hilarious.

Wait, we're nearing 1000 Pokemon? Last I checked there were 649. I really wish growing up if I had gotten a 65% on a test I could just say "Nah Dad, it's cool, I was nearing 100%."
They will reboot pokemon when it is on a system with no backwards compatability to any of hte other systems. so not until at least the handheld after the 3ds.
