Watching the Minnesota feed of the Wild/Sens game -- it's so nice to hear a commentator say "that shouldn't be a penalty" when the opposing team has a bad call against. Listening to the Red Wings feed in a game last week was painful. "That's tripping! Bad no call. Interference! C'mon ref."

and Setoguchi gets a PP goal as I was typing.

Oh right, thought it was something new.

It's crazy that the Pens can be competitive without Crosby and Malkin. Malkin missing a few games in October isn't that big a deal though; he should be focused on ensuring he'll be healthy in the spring. You guys aren't in trouble unless you lose Letang anyway.

Yeah, I normally hate it. Like when the Habs fans were booing Carey Price in preseason last year? That's garbage. But Gonchar really, really deserves it. Over a year with this guy fumbling the puck at the blue line on powerplays has been painful.

Well deserved win; though to be honest we should have won it in regulation. We thoroughly outplayed Minny and some really fluky stuff lead to being behind (again.) This time the hole wasn't too big to crawl out of.

I predict another win for Ottawa against Colorado on Thursday...and I'll be there to witness it.

Little notes:

- trade Gonchar to Montreal, they need a D we need to get rid of him.
- Rundblad didn't look bad in his first game aside from a few fumbles. Had some nice passes and good chances.
- Da Costa is amazing.

2 - 2 going into the weekend would be ideal! Ottawa has quite the fighting spirit. Loving it.
