I remember liking this game a lot when I was 9. Curious to see how my adult self likes it.

Just one question - apparently the enemies scale with you in this game? How does that work exactly?

To my knowledge, once you hit certain levels, the monsters will become stronger.

I think the enemy levels are the average of your whole party. I haven't played the game for awhile either, and it's my favorite game ever. You don't really need to worry about leveling. Just make sure you refine/draw/junction magic and you should be good.
