I have a decent number of "combination" victories in my bracket. I think solving the puzzle of how these combinations will work is the key to figuring out the East, Southeast, and Southwest divisions in particular, since there are no real juggernauts in any of them but a lot of solid pairings between two well known characters.
I think Red/Blue will be greater than the sum of its parts, but that's pretty much the only one.

I think that the rivalries that truly are known as rivalries rather than simply a hero/villain pairing will get a solid boost. Red/Blue and Fox/Wolf are the obvious big ones.

I doubt all that many. SFF hurts a lot of these characters. We saw how Link vs. Cloud vs. Sephy vs. Kirby went. Sure it's not identical logic, but I'd say winning a match they wouldn't isn't likely, but maybe giving a bigger beatdown is possible.
