Board 8 > How could you be spiritually hedonistic?

I'm trying to write something, and (don't ask why) I need a minor character who's spiritually hedonistic, like you could be hedonistic for physical pleasure, but for this character, spiritual pleasure and feeling is what's important. I can't really think of any way to make that work, but it's too important to just drop.

I guess that would mean doing impractical/rash things just for that "good feeling" inside

Like giving all your money to charity, quitting a job to go on a mission, etc.
