Look body, I understand that it's gravity that makes half my face feel like it's a hazy water balloon filled with tar when I have a cold and I'm trying to sleep. That isn't your fault. And stuffing this gunk out through my nose is honestly preferable to any of the other options you could have chosen, I get that too (no anus snot plz). But I'm a crafty human who long ago learned that rolling over will slooooowly shift the snot from one side of my face to the other, and there are moments there where it's loose and ripe for the sneezing. So why do you only sneeze when it's good and stuffed to the point where sneezing makes it feel like my face just threw itself onto a grenade to save its comrades from the explosion and absolutely no shrapnel snot comes out? Let me control my own damn sneezes. You can keep heartbeat regulation and we'll still share breathing, but this is honestly something I think I can do better on my own.

Also, as a reward for reading this topic, give me some nominations because I really don't care but I should still probably use them. I'd prefer it if you kept them to ones that are legal within the rules and won't just be thrown out but I'll also not care enough to check so go nuts. I already used one for Liu Bei/Cao Cao but that's it.

Have you tried looking at bright lights when you need to sneeze? It only works for some people, but it's worth a try. Works for me.

Also, I'd like to suggest nom'ing Balthier / Dr. Cid, if you're looking for things to nom.

And staring at a bright light never worked for me, oddly it's coming my hair that makes me randomly sneeze but I don't keep a comb by my bed and even if I did I don't want to have to jump through all those hoops for something my body should do when I will it.

Yeah, it is pretty weird how fickle the whole sneezing process can be, and. sometimes there's nothing worse than a lost attempt at a sneeze.

wait wtf? why wouldnt you be able to force a sneeze? just stick a q-tip up each nostril and wiggle them around, you will sneeze in no-time. multiple times even. I do it every day to help clear my sinuses

The worst thing is when a sneeze comes, you prepare for it, and then it goes away. Especially since you know it will wait around and come back soon.
