- it's a few weeks old, but did you guys know Aquaria is coming to iPad? It looks kind of awesome despite what you'd expect. http://vimeo.com/29644366
- The Binding of Isaac is out tomorrow on Steam. For those who don't know, it's Edmund from Team Meat's new game - a combination of roguelike, dual stick shooter and Zelda 1. It also looks like Castle Crashers graphically. yeah.
- DICE announced there's going to be a Battlefield 3 tournament for $1.6million dollars. Between this, DOTA2 and how Evo and Starcraft 2 is exploding, I'd say competitive gaming is bursting. Also, for those who didn't hear, Spooky got all of his stuff seized by homeland security on a trip back from Canada. ha. http://iplaywinner.com/news/2011/9/27/team-sp00kys-stream-gear-seized-by-the-department-of-homelan.html
- Tons of XBL sales this week. Notable ones are Outland for $5, Shank for $7 and Bionic Commando Rearmed for $5.
- Yoichi Wada: "The Final Fantasy brand has been greatly damanged" in regards to FF14. Funny, you could have not said anything about FF14 and not had anyone argue with the statement. http://andriasang.com/comyby/
- Journey release date announced - Spring 2012. Kinda crazy given that there was a beta 2 or 3 months ago and it's not out for another 6.
- KOF13 got delayed to mid-November. If they try to release it then, it will sell 17 copies. Then again, if they release it in a dead spot it'll sell 54 copies.
- P Wings in Super Mario 3d Land. This game, like most Nintendo games lately, has been horribly marketed. This should probably be pretty popular. http://ds.ign.com/articles/119/1196835p1.html

Noooooo. Still pumped though. And hey, I've seen at least 100 people post on forums that they've pre-ordered it. =P

From: GuessMyUserName | #013 well TGS seemed to confirm they changed their minds on Wii Sports Resort Archery controls, which is the only thing I was worried about
IR aiming is perfect, no need to change perfection
Wait wait wait, so the reticle will no longer shake like crazy? Am I hearing that right?

The spoiler tags that you saw in the link talking about Skyward Sword would look exactly the same way as the spoiler tags I got to test out during a closed beta earlier this year.

Eh? I'd certainly argue with the statement if FF14 didn't exist. (Not sure that's what you meant, but it reads that way.)
While there have been a few games in the series that have inspired some rage from parts of the internet, FF14 feels like the first game objectively bad enough that the general gaming public will take notice.
Certainly the series' sales haven't suffered up to this point!

You do realise that Zelda games actually have plots right. This isn't Mario. Actually in the great scale of plot heaviness in gaming, Zelda's around the middle.
Speaking of which, I like those plot andgameplay details.
*kind of spoilers*
The implication that Zelda's dad may be that damn owl is hilarious to me. I didn't see that one coming.
*end kind of spoilers*

I actually don't think FF14's quality matters to most regular FF players. they're not going to play it either way. FF11 got bombed by a lot of people and it wasn't that big of a deal.
FF12 and 13 not being all-time games after 6-10, though? seems like a big deal.
