It's better than Samus/Ridley imo. Ridley is pretty cool, but SA-X encounters are awesome!

Too many other Samus options. Mother Brain, Kraid, Ridley, it'll never make it.

Yeah but SA-X is just a mindless monster. Samus and Ridley actually have history, and have fought like 10 times across all the games.

yeah, Ridley has more history, and I don't think sa-x would have any chance, but I do think sa-x is a better rivalry if you look at it purely from a gameplay perspective and not from a story/character perspective

pffttt, dark samus is like sa-x except without all the intense close encounters and the creepy atmosphere. inferior in every way!

It was pretty great having to flee from an enemy in Metroid. I like this, but I also like Samus/Metroid Prime.

I agree, but Dark Samus is still a billion times more popular than SA-X is!

Honestly I like this better than the other options; neither Ridley nor Mother Brain have much plot or presence in the games (at least that I've played, no Other M for me). SA-X certainly has presence! But I doubt I'll bother since the other options will win anyway due to spanning many games.
