I don't have enough faith in voters to think that Cloud/Seph and Mario/Sonic legitimately being significantly better rivalries than Link/Ganon would be enough to change anything.

This contest won't be like the fourway contests from 2007, 2008, and 2009. Each match will have 2 options to choose from. An example of a match would be something like this:

I submitted a feedback ticket to Bacon suggesting the idea of a 64 item bracket with 12 hour matches for round 1 and 24 hour matches for round 2 and beyond. That would result in a 47 day contest. I don't know if we'll have time to fit in a 63 day contest with 24 hour matches throughout the entire contest.

Good plan- we definitely don't need to see this thing drag on for 63 days. Then again, even just 32 days of it might be enough...

I don't see why Ganon will help Link more than Seph will help Cloud. That's not to say I don't think Link/Ganon is going to win, but it's not going to do it without at least losing a couple of hours in its toughest matches.

Since 2008, we've been keeping track of the total nominations for every contest, so it's interesting to get a rough idea for the total number of nominations that were submitted before the nomination phase closes down.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like very few nominations so far for a couple hours in. Whats the average amount by 3 hours in?

For past contests, I don't remember how many nominations we had after 3 hours.
