If you suffered a head injury a little less than two days ago, not like a concussion but still a pretty big knock on the head, is it alright to dive into binge drinking?

I've gotten drunk that night after having a concussion. Nothing went wrong.

To be safe, you probably should wait 48 hours (if that's what was medically advised). However, if we're talking 46 hours vs 48 hours, who gives a ****.

thanks, nobody advised 48 hours that's just what came up when i googled head injury and drinking

You usually want to wait 48 hours. If nearing that, there's a pretty easy test:

Shake your head back and forth. Not too fast/more on the slow side, but just a deliberate shake. Or rotate, either works.

Do you get easily dizzy, or does it make your head pound?

If not, you're probably good to go.

Obviously, this isn't the end all, be all, but...
